Preventative Care
Keeping your teeth, gums, and mouth in good health starts with good habits. Routine dental cleanings and check-ups are a big part of that, but good brushing and flossing habits also play a critical role in preventing plaque build-up and tooth decay. It is recommended that you visit your dentist at least twice a year to ensure good oral health.
Pediatric Care
Gentle Dental Care is here to be your family dentist. We are experienced in pediatric care and will make sure your child has everything they need to maintain a beautiful and healthy smile as they grow! We encourage you to bring your child in within six months of their first tooth erupting or by their first birthday. During their first appointment, we’ll make them comfortable and introduce them to Dr. Khan. After we perform a gentle exam, we’ll count and clean their teeth. After the exam, we’ll talk about home care and your child’s oral health plan.
Restorative Dentistry
It’s completely normal to have broken, decayed, or missing teeth – even for people with good oral health habits. Regardless of how common it is, these issues can negatively affect one’s self-confidence and oral health in many ways. A seemingly small problem may cause a chain reaction, so it’s important to address these issues as they arise. Using restorative dentistry techniques, Gentle Dental Care can help restore your smile and your confidence.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Our staff is skilled at performing oral surgeries with the utmost precision, care, and comfort. Extractions and incisions/drainage are often completed with minimal local anesthetic right in our office. Oral Surgeries are safer and more effective than ever before. Our staff operates with a gentle touch, so you don’t have to worry about difficult aftercare or a painful follow-up visit.

Endodontics
Endodontic treatment and care refer to any treatment involving the inner tissue of the teeth, which is known as the pulp or nerve. Endodontic treatments are typically performed to address infections and save the affected tooth.

TMJ Disorder
The Temporomandibular Joint, or TMJ, refers to the small network of bones, nerves, and ligaments that help your jaw move around, open, and close. If you experience jaw tenderness, locking, clicking or popping, you may be suffering from TMJ Disorder (also known as TMD).
Periodontal Care
Periodontal or Gum disease is a bacterial infection in the gums surrounding the tooth. When caught early enough, it can be treated effectively. We recommend that patients visit us for check-ups every 6 months. Early intervention helps prevent damage to the surrounding bone structure.

Dental Anxiety
If you’re nervous or afraid to go to the dentist, you’re not the only one! Gentle Dental Care treats nervous patients all the time. Though your reasons for dental anxiety may be different than others, it can be a barrier to good dental health. Our commitment to your comfort is so strong, it’s part of our name! That’s why we offer solutions to your dental anxiety, including nitrous oxide and oral sedation.
